Well, as some of my fellow plebeians may know, I am today applying for a place on the Social Sciences course at my college, which will in turn of completion, enable me to access a Plymouth University course of my choosing for two years, automatic acceptation enabled.

Now, in my class, there are currently 17 people, and our tutor has been trying kick every ones arses into gear so that they apply for what-ever Uni courses they want early enough so that there still remains a fluff pink duck billed platypuses chance in hell of getting on their wanted course.

A grand total of five bothered. The rest saying they could stay in their current jobs and get advancement that way... considering the places they work, I somehow doubt it...

That's a major complaint I see in the media about my generation, that we're all very unambitious about our lives and that we don't care.

What A Load Of Bollocks.

In the time since that day, ALL of the class now have applied to uni, clearly seeing what would happen if they didn't, some of these people are the thickets girls I have ever met, but even they have seen the wood for the trees.

I'm fed up of this damnable media circus claiming we're the root cause of this countries ills, and I'm pleased to say that even the thick-planks of the world are proving certain publications wrong.

Now, don't get me started on the scumbags who run the media and those who get the most air time/column inches.....

Well, let me introduce myself, I am Laurence Gale, I am currently 18 years of age, at college doing a course in Health Studies. For some bizarre, annoying reason, people automatically assume I'm gay due to my choice of course main reason behind this is due to the fact my entire class, other myself, are girls. i shall give you a clue as to how lucky I am to be in such a situation: I have never felt so depressed in my life whilst sorrounded by people whose biggest shock of the day will come from finding out that a random pop singer wore a red top.

My current interests are the usual for someone of my age: music, reading, tv and course gaming.

Oh yes, my other hobby: Trying to educate my fellow students in the ways of the world. In the last few weeks, certain members have revealed to me that they are in fact...complete idiots. I am not talking about the fact they're as blond as a Swiss nun, I am on about the fact they did not know who ran this country.
